Types of Stamped Concrete
Installing stamped concrete in Cincinnati, OH means homeowners can choose from various design options.
While concrete features excellent durability and a long lifespan, many businesses and homeowners don’t install concrete due to its bland visual appeal.
However, stamped concrete pool decks, patios, and driveways eliminate this problem by offering designs and finishes like:
- Wood planks
- Brick patterns
- Cobblestone
- Seamless slate
- Natural stone, including flagstone
- Pavers
- Ashlar slate
- Customized stamp patterns, including specific patterns and textures
You can also have our crew install your stamped concrete surfaces in various color schemes. Choose a design that perfectly matches the rest of your home, or a design that makes your patio or driveway stand apart.
How It Works
Every concrete contractor follows a precise process, starting with an initial consultation. After we determine your needs, our process includes the following steps:
- We pour concrete that’s at least four inches thick.
- We add your primary color, either within the mixture or after applying the cement. We first determine what method your project requires.
- Next, we implement the color-releasing agent, giving your stamped concrete added dimension. This added dimension also makes laying down your texturizing mats by making the surface non-sticky.
- Our team then lays down your texturizing mats while your cement is still wet.
- We allow your cement to dry or “cure” for at least 24 hours.
- The final step involves pressure washing your release agent, adding a sealant, and letting your new stamped concrete fully dry.
